Yesterday thousands marched along side Gloria Estefan and her family for the 'Ladies in White' March. The 'Ladies in White' is a movement in Cuba of women who's spouses and other relatives were jailed for being human rights defenders and activists. They are to be withheld in jail for up to 28 years. The women protest their prisoners by marching from the church to a nearby park in all white as a sign of peace. The women marching have been attacked, insulted, and even thrown in police buses for peacefully protesting to have their loved ones freed.
