Jet Blue being progressive

There has been some controversy about JetBlue having a first ever pride flight. In my opinion I feel this is a great idea and it sounds like a hell of a lot of fun! Some people might find this offending or feel as if they are segregating gays. However, I do not feel this is the case or intention at all of JetBlue. They are obviously trying to be progressive and spruce up a little fun for their airline. Sign me up for this flight ANYDAY!

Hiro Lounge

I had the pleasure of going to Hiro Lounge this past weekend for a triple birthday bash. Bottle service, VIP, aerial dancers, the works. If your in NYC, I would most definitely recommend this spot for a party and a good time!

The Holiday

I understand feeling as small and as insignificant as humanly possible, and how it can actually ache in places you didn't know you had inside you, and it doesn't matter how many new haircuts you get, or gyms you join, or how many glasses of chardonnay you drink with your girlfriends... you still go to bed every night going over every detail and wonder what you did wrong, or how you could have misunderstood, and how in the hell for that brief moment you could think that you were that happy. And sometimes you can even convince yourself that he'll see the light and show up at your door. And after all that, however long all that may be, you'll go somewhere new, and you'll meet people who make you feel worthwhile again, and little pieces of your soul will finally come back. And all that fuzzy stuff, those years of your life that you wasted, that will eventually begin to fade.

Viva Cuba Libre

Yesterday thousands marched along side Gloria Estefan and her family for the 'Ladies in White' March. The 'Ladies in White' is a movement in Cuba of women who's spouses and other relatives were jailed for being human rights defenders and activists. They are to be withheld in jail for up to 28 years. The women protest their prisoners by marching from the church to a nearby park in all white as a sign of peace. The women marching have been attacked, insulted, and even thrown in police buses for peacefully protesting to have their loved ones freed.



ONE DAY CUBA, ONE DAY

What a bottom less pit it is....



One gets sucked into this deep hole where all is dark and one must use all their senses.

One feels love inside & out
One tastes the sweet and deadly kiss
One sees blindly what others don't
One hears and listens like there is no one else in sight
One smells what is so familiar and comforting

However, the deeper one gets sucked into the deep, bottom less pit; the harder and longer it takes to get out. If one is not feeling pleasure in this deep pit; one is feeling pain. Harsh, heart wrenching, devastating pain that takes over the body and controls every single of one's senses.

Oh how love hurts....



How it hurts to only have the sight for him, to only want his touch on your skin, to hear his voice and know that everything is right with yourself, to be constantly ravenous and with hunger for him, && to want to inhale and get lost in his sweet sweet scent.
